How to Prepare

Here are some simple ways to prepare so that you're training day goes smoothly:

At home:

  • Purchase your ammo ahead of time.
  • Make sure your firearm is clean and operational.
  • Bring a sturdy belt for your holster and gear.
  • Get plenty of sleep the night before.
  • Eat a good breakfast the day of your training.
  • Leave your worries/personal problems at home.
  • Come with an open mind, ready to learn.

At the range:

  • Abide by the 5mph speed limit as you enter/leave the range.
  • Keep your firearm in its container until checked in with Armorer.
  • Do not show up with a loaded firearm.

 

Again, it is school policy that you train with a clean firearm.  Clean firearms make for a safer training environment for all by minimizing malfunctions.  Thank you for adhering to these simple bullet points, it will help the day move smoother for everyone.
