Advanced Firearms Training

Advanced Firearms Training is offered to those who have completed up to Defensive Tactical Handgun Level II & Defensive Tactical Shotgun or Tactical Rifle. We will be training with our primary weapons system (tac rifle or shotgun) along with our secondary system which would be your side arm.  Utilizing a tertiary system will be optional for those who are able to carry three firearms on his person safely and securely. Training in Tac Rifle and or Shotgun is necessary for transitions development. Our Shotgun and Tac Rifle classes are full day (8-hour) classes.

Goal:

Train people in the safe and proper method of advanced firearms handling. Also to learn new skills and improve on existing shooting skills.

What to Bring:

  • Eye and ear protection
  • Plenty of fluid (i.e.,water)-(We always have sports drinks & water available)
  • Comfortable loose fitting pants (BDUs)
  • Drop rigs, low rides & tactical holsters may be employed
  • At least 3 magazines for pistol & Rifle
  • Double Magazine Carrier (DMC) for your size pistol magazine
  • Double Magazine Carrier (DMC) for your Rifle or shot shell carrier on shotgun
  • Your pistol
  • 300-400 rounds of pistol
  • 200-300 rounds of carbine
  • 200 bird shot 30 shells of low recoil slug-1 box of five 00 (if you use a shotgun)
  • A sack lunch and plenty of water/fluids to drink.
  • Sun block / lip balm, you know the drill for you
  • Ammo pouch for your loose ammo (BDUs may suffice)
  • This is the time to test all of your gear, bring it out & put it on (tac vest ok)
  • A pen and note taking gear
